How are Loog Guitars tuned?Updated 8 days ago

Loog Guitars use standard guitar tuning for their three strings: G–B–E (from lowest to highest string). 🎸

These are the same first three strings of a standard 6-string guitar, which means everything your child learns on a Loog—from chord shapes to songs—can be applied when they're ready to transition to a full-size guitar. It's one of the things that makes learning on a Loog so easy and rewarding! 🎶

Can I use a different tuning?

Absolutely! Music is all about creativity. 😊

While we recommend using the standard G–B–E tuning for the best learning experience, you're welcome to experiment with alternate tunings such as Open GOpen A, or any tuning that inspires you.

New to Loog?

If you've just unboxed your guitar, we recommend checking out our Getting Started guide here. It includes everything you need to tune your guitar, set it up, and start playing your first songs. 🤘
