What strings does a Loog Pro VI Acoustic Guitar use?Updated an hour ago
The Loog Pro 6 Acoustic can use both nylon and steel strings, and don't worry—using steel strings won't damage your guitar! 🎸
That said, the Pro 6 Acoustic is designed for nylon strings, which we recommend, especially for beginners and younger players. Nylon strings are also softer and more comfortable on little fingers. 😉
There's one thing to keep in mind if you decide to use steel strings: the guitar's bridge saddle is designed specifically for nylon strings. Steel strings may affect the guitar's intonation, which means some notes may not sound perfectly in tune as you move up the fretboard.
So, which should you choose?
- 🎵 Nylon strings: Our recommended choice, especially for kids and beginners.
- 🎸 Steel strings: Safe to use and won't damage the guitar, but they may cause some intonation issues.

Your choice, your experience! 🎶 We’re here to share our recommendations and help you make the best choice for your musical journey—but ultimately, it’s up to you how you want to rock! 🤘
