Why were the Electric Guitars with built-in amps discontinued?Updated 2 days ago
As we continued to improve our products, we made the decision to remove the built-in amp from our larger electric guitars. 🎸
This change helped simplify production and reduce supply chain challenges, allowing us to build a more reliable product while maintaining the quality you expect from Loog. 👌
It also turns out that many players—especially older kids—prefer using a separate guitar amp. It gives them more flexibility, lets them explore different sounds and effects, and often provides a bigger, fuller sound. 🔊
Does any Loog guitar still have a built-in amp?
Yes! 😊
The Loog Mini Electric is currently the only Loog electric guitar with a built-in amp and speaker. It's designed for young beginners (recommended for ages 3+), making it easy to start playing right away without the need for cables or an external amplifier.
As your little musician grows, they can easily connect any of our other electric guitars to a standard guitar amp using the built-in 1/4-inch output jack.
