My Mini Amp isn't producing any sound when connected to my electric guitar. What should I do?Updated 4 days ago
No sound? Don't worry—we'll help you get your Loog rocking again! 🎸🔊
Our newer electric guitars do not have a built-in amplifier, so they need to be connected to an external amp to produce amplified sound. The Loog Mini Amp was designed to pair perfectly with our electric guitars.
If you're not hearing anything, try these quick troubleshooting steps:
📻 1. Isolate the issue
Let's figure out which part might be causing the problem. Try one of these combinations:
- Connect a different guitar to the same amp and cable.
- Try a different cable with the same guitar and amp.
- Connect your guitar and cable to a different amp.
This can help us determine whether the issue is with the guitar, cable, or amp.
🔋 2. Try a fresh battery
Make sure your Mini Amp has a brand-new 9V battery. A low or drained battery can prevent the amp from producing sound.
🔌 3. Check the connections
Make sure the cable is securely plugged into both the guitar and the amp.
Also, check the amp's wiring and connections, and make sure the indicator light turns on when the amp is powered up.
